The 555 is a newer addition to the range with all the features of its smaller companions. The main compartment includes four full depth pockets. The single zip top opening has been retained but has also been reprofiled, so that it is now possible for the zip panels to lie behind the inside pockets, so forming the Billingham TukTop. In use the zip can remain open and protected with the main flap. The simple zip path ensures long, trouble-free life.

Hadley

Hadley Small

Following on from the success of the Hadley Original, we have introduced this smaller version. Just as its bigger brother it can be a well-equipped camera bag or with the photo insert removed, a business case or a posh beach bag.

In use, we recommend the flap straps are adjusted to length by usning the buckle; the Quick Release System, i.e. the teardrop shaped hole which slips over the brass stud, is used for regular opening and closing. This way you will gain maximum benefit from the Q.R.System.

Hadley Originalhadley original


The Photo Hadley remains one of our Top bags. One day, it can be a roomy, well equipped camera bag; the next it can double as a business case. The Original and Large Hadleys are big enough to take A4 files or a small laptop computer.

The two front pockets have generous bellows and seperate flaps while the Main flap has the Billingham Quick Release System and adjustable straps for increased loading.

The insert is fully removeable which makes the bag very flexible in its intended use. The gap between the insert and the bag can be used to store papers or manuals.

Please note that the Canvas is no longer available in Olive. Our alternative is Sage, which is available in FibreNyte synthetic canvas.

Hadley Prohadley pro

Based on the ever popular Hadley Original, the Hadley Pro is a mirror with added features. A carrying handle is integrated with a stiffener into the top flap. The weight of your gear is not carried through canvas holes that could wear out, rather they are attached to a fibreglass stiffner and weight supported through that. A waterproofed zippered back pocket is very useful for tickets, magazines, manuals or any other flat document. The facility to add extra capacity with our AVEA pouches rounds off the bag nicely.

It has a fully removeable insert with dividers that can be adjusted with velcro fastenings to suit equipment. The insert lifts out, much like a bucket. This bag also features adjustable Quick Release Straps into brass buckles, bellowed front pockets with press-stud fastenings and a double darted main flap which covers the mouth of the bag when closed protecting it from rain and weather elements.

The fully adjustable shoulder sling is sewn under a leather side patch, which provides the facility to attach our AVEA side pockets. The AVEA03 is the nicest looking fit as they are slimmer and match the side profile of the Hadley Pro. However, the AVEA05's will also fit if you need extra room and are less concerned with aesthetics.

The Classic 550

The 550 was the first soft camera bag manufactured in Britain. It's continuing success, both as a spacious camera bag and as a general travel bag have meant that, apart from a few very minor improvements, it remains much the same as when it was first introduced. 550

M Billingham & Co was formed in 1973 by its present owners and is still a family business. We employ skilled people, some of whom have been with us for many years. Our first factory was opened in 1977 in Old Hill, just a short distance from our present premises in Brierley Hill.

You will have gathered that the area is rather hilly, it is also the centre of many varied skills. A visit to our local Black Country Museum is a must if you visit the area.
